Leak Repair

This photo was taken inside a train control room (TCR):

Sometimes it takes a while for problems to get fixed at Metro and in the meantime we’d have to get creative.  Under the plastic is vital equipment that costs tens of thousands of dollars and is used to control the safe movement of trains.

To the best of my knowledge, the bucket and plastic had been there for months if not years.  They are probably still there.  To be fair, the leak may have eventually been fixed and the bucket and plastic left in place ‘just in case’.
