This photo was taken at Shady Grove train yard (A99) after the new shop addition was built:
Notice that the sign is on the far side of the tracks. When there is snow on the ground and/or limited visibility a person might very well stop right on the tracks — especially if they aren’t familiar with the yard.
As usual, this was reported but nothing was done.
This is a hole that was made for a stop sign but unfortunately had to be filled in because it is in the middle of the travel lane:
Ooops.
